Three operas, written and composed by teams of seven people within three days, and premiered on the evening of the third day: From May 19 to 22, 2022, our audience witness this seemingly impossible task and its implementation live. "CIVIC NEWSROOM" showed the works​ by 21 composers, librettists, directors, singers, musicians, stage and costume designers from Germany, Great Britain, Iran, Italy, Russia, Sweden and Austria. After the draw, three teams worked tirelessly on operas of our time. "Saprophages" was created in cooperation with the Kunst Haus Wien and from dialogues on the topic "Climate and Sustainability". An opera in which a human being is confronted with his own materiality at the end of his life, because decomposed in the saliva of the bacteria he enters the sediment. "Future Perfect" revolves around the question of the forms of the imagined future in cooperation with CAPE 10 and dialogues on the subject of health and social affairs with residents of the 10th district. Initiated by the Kulturhaus Brotfabrik, the team around Carmen C. Kruse and Mischa Tangian held talks on the subject of culture & participation, which resulted in "Tomorrow I'll see myself", an encounter of different voices with their hopes for the future of art. Who will perform and be represented?
